Step 1: Get an App Password from Your Google Account

In the upper right corner of any Google Screen go to your picture and click “Manage Your Google Account”

Then click “Security” followed by the “App Password” setting just like in the pic below

Select the app “Mail”

Then select the device category “Other”

Name your app something that helps you identify it later (Gmail or Something Similar)

Copy the 16 character “App Password”
Step 2: Setup Gmail and Add App Password

Click the settings gear icon in your Gmail account

In settings, click “Accounts and Import” then “Add Another Email”

Enter contact name you would like to set for the new email account

In the email address spot add the new @yourdomain.com email account

Click the box “Treat as an Alias”

Set SMTP server to:Â Â smtp.gmail.com

Set Port:Â Â Â 587

Username:Â Â Your Gmail Account – the email you are currently logged in to.

Password:Â Â Â Paste the 16 character app password we generated in Step 1.

Make sure TLS secured connection is selected

Click “Add Account”

Go Back to your Inbox and find the new “Gmail Confirmation” email just sent from Google

Copy the verification code

Click the verification link or go back to the window (screen) and paste the verification code

Enter the verification code and click “Verify”

Click the “Settings” Gear Icon

Then Accounts and Import

Then Select “Reply from the dame address the message was sent to” and save.

Success! Now when you compose a new message in Gmail You can click the “From” in the address bar and a drop down will show you all connected email accounts. You can choose to send from the domain or from the standard gmail account. Since we set to auto reply from the email address mail is sent to your account will automatically respond to any received emails as that email address.
